You’ll be surprised at how little you have to know to save a life.
The 4 Steps for Life are:
- Call triple zero (000) for an ambulance
- Open the airway
- Breathe mouth to mouth
- Pump the chest
Remember
If someone has a cardiac arrest you should give CPR as quickly as possible. Even if it’s your first time doing CPR, it’s better than nothing.
Remember to call 000 then begin compressions. You should aim for 2 compressions a second and compress their chest 1/3 or 5cm while giving CPR.
